le tour

so a quick update here
i promise ill get some pics up next week, the few i have.

trish and pete came into town last monday. pete was there for a day and then went to his conference.
sarah, roomate of elviras when she lived in hull, arrived on tuesday.
didnt do much tuesday.
wed night went out to hildegart, cool 70s bar
thursday trish and i went to liege in belgium then on to maastricht in the netherlands.
liege is a cool town, but it happened to be the national holiday so we didnt hang out long

maastricht i think is one of my new favorite cities.
trish described it as 'savanah of the netherlands' perfect description.
its like amsterdam but cleaner, not as seedy and cooler looking, loved it there!
friday trish and i went to amsterdam to meet up with pete, we found a really cool little belgian bar with about 50
different beers. we spent the night wandering about the city having fun, good times:)

then i went to, and im in, paris for the final day of the tour de france. the last day the do 8 laps around the city.
ive always wanted to see the last day and its lances last race; he destroyed everyone in the ti,e trial yesterday and will win, unless something insqne happens, his 7th tour and then retire.
